She had a cavity and needed work done. He gave her laughing gas and was gentle with her. She was also willing to come back for the next appointment. I was so grateful to get into Dr Readings schedule so quick! My 2 year old daughter chipped her tooth last week and complaining a ton about her tooth. We had an appointment with another dentist a few weeks out but he is able to get her in in two days to fix it! We absolutely love Reading Pediatric Dentistry! They have video games and blocks to play with in the lobby. The children receive a token to get a small "prize" at the end of their visit. Amazing pediatric dentist! Dr Reading was patient with my little guy. He has a very difficult time with people touching him, especially strangers. Just turned 2 and we went in for his first time and Dr Reading listened to my concerns about my son’s fussiness and had a great technique to make it a quick and not so painful process. My little guy cried and screamed a bit but honestly the Dr was so fast that the pain was short lived. Then he got a token to pick out a toy when the exam was over which made him super happy! We will definitely continue being happy patients of his for years to come!

The assistant was able to engage my daughter in things that interest her and able to quickly take pictures of her teeth with no trouble at all. I was so surprised how smooth the visit went. Dr. Reading did such an amazing job interacting with my daughter making the visit fun. I remember how scared I was going to the dentist when I was a kid and I am so glad that they always make our experience fun and positive! The kids also get a token at the end of their visit to choose a toy from the vending machine which my daughter enjoyed so much.
I absolutely love Dr. Reading. My kids have been going to him since they were little, he's so good with them, and he makes where my kids aren't scared to go to the dentist

So awesome for my 2.5 year old! He is shy around new people and I was worried about his first visit, but Dr. Reading was friendly and made my child feel very welcome. Dr. Reading answered all our questions and gave us options and recommendations. Staff was great with my child as well and knew what they were doing. They sent us forms prior to fill out online. They just had us text when we arrived and they would let us know when to come in. We left having a great first visit to the dentist.
Dr. Reading is amazing with my kids. He's good at explaining what he sees in x-rays and exams, helping children to understand how to take good care of their teeth and gums, and he makes going to the dentist fun! I've taken my girls there for years, and even though I live on the other side of the valley now, I still drive out to West Jordan because Dr. Reading and all of the staff at Reading Pediatric Dentistry are so nice and provide a great experience. I recommend this practice very highly.
I love this dentist. My daughter is a non-verbal autistic four-year-old they do everything they can to make her comfortable she never leaves in a bad mood and she loves going to the dentist which is a rare thing. I would recommend Dr reading and his staff to anybody that asks. They are amazing.

Dr. Reading is a wonderful pediatric dentist. I am so glad that I found him. My child has super high anxiety with regards to anything about her teeth. I have raised three other children that are now all adults. Yes they all had some anxieties when working on loosing their baby teeth but they all handled it fine in the end and they loved to go to the dentist. I never had to take them to a pediatric dentist they just went to my family dentist and we're fine... My youngest has an amazing amount of fear with loosing her baby teeth she won't wiggle them at home most of the time. She is currently working on the last 8 baby teeth she has. She has always been a year or two ahead of the game with the loosing of the baby teeth and growing in her adult teeth thing. She will probably have all her adult teeth by the time she turns 10½ lol. With the exception of her wisdoms. We have been going to Dr. Reading now for several years and I can't imagine taking her somewhere else. He is super patient with her and explains everything to her in a way she can understand and that is very important. She just needs to know everything and every detail of what to expect from anyone looking at her teeth before they get close. Dr. Reading does an excellent job of giving her the information and not invoking fear. There is a fine line between the two. I don't think she will ever love to go to the dentist but at least she tolerates going to Dr. Reading. She flat out won't go anywhere else because she feels like they try to trick her and she is just to smart to fall for it. Trust me when I say she trusts him and that is amazing because she doesn't trust anyone. I would certainly recommend anyone who has kids to take them to Dr. Reading. Wether they have anxiety or not because he is wonderful working with kids and extremely knowledgeable about how to interact with them. He has a family and kids of his own which certainly helps when working with them on a daily basis...If they don't have anxiety then great take them to him and they will never develop it. He has everything needed in his office. He can do the gas if needs be. I think he pretty much can do everything a kid might need and has always been able to see my daughter the day of a call or next day. His staff are all extremely kind and gentle as well. They listen to my daughter and work with her to make sure she is comfortable with what they are going to do as well. It's a process even to clean her teeth but so long as she knows what they are doing it's all good. It's nice to go in and have everyone just know my daughter and not have to explain every visit about her anxiety issues and remind them that she has special needs regarding her case. He has remembered her from her first visit and that makes things easier on me as well. In the waiting room there are video games, toys and a cute little room for the kids to play in while they wait and they have TVs in the ceiling for the kids to watch a movie of their choice while they are getting their teeth cleaned. A token at the end to get a prize. As well as a new toothbrush, toothpaste and floss in a little bag to take home. They certainly do a great job of educating the parent as well as the patient which is extremely important. Some places don't let the parents go back with the kids I can see where that could be beneficial but in most cases I don't think it's necessary and I know that wouldn't work for my daughter. I think they do a great job of including the parent here. I'm very greatful to be able to bring my daughter here. Thank you to everyone at Reading Pediatric Dentistry.

I am a mom of 3 and my 2 year old today had to get sedated to get 10 teeth fixed .. and I was scared and emotional and full of questions and he answered every single one. And made me and my husband feel comfortable and like our daughter was safe! I am so glad I left plantet tooth and found him!!!! My baby girls teeth look amazing! And we will be forever clients!!!! 2💯🥰♥️

UPDATE: I have been coming to this dentist for about 1 year. I have found our kids dentist that we will be using until they grow up or the dentist retires (hopefully not before they grow up) . He does very good work, and very good with children. Update: I have now had over 6 appointments checkups and dental work done one my kids. I like the work the dentist does it is good quality. I have been to the dentist 2 times with my kids. So far, the dentist seems very open, doesn't hide anything and offers what can be done and why. The atmosphere and workers are welcoming and friendly. Wait isn't long, the longest I waited was about 10 minutes.

I came here because I was new to the area and it was super convenient, drive wise, also it was a bit of a short notice.. I needed to get my daughter in complaining about a specific tooth and they took us right in! Then decided to take all three of my girls in and oh my gosh Dr. Reading and his staff were amazing! They welcomed us with opened arms, took care of my girls and was very informative with me. Sadly we will moving out of the area in a few months but no doubt will I make the trip to continue to see Dr. Reading and his staff for all of my children’s pediatric dental needs! Dr. Reading takes his time with each of my children, talking to them and making them feel comfortable. He also takes the time to talk with me about each of my children and their needs. The staff is friendly and skilled. And the cost is so affordable! We have no dental insurance and have to pay out of pocket. I can get three children's cleanings and exams for a third of the cost at our previous dentist.

My small children love Dr. Reading. He is gentle and soft spoken and kind. We love the staff there, too. Dr. Reading has several times put "checks" on teeth to watch and see how things go instead of immediately drilling at the first sign of possible trouble. We've also been pleased with the treatment for problems. Dr. Reading is patient with explaining everything to parents. My children love the office. It is safari themed and welcoming. In the waiting room there are Legos, video games, and a tiki hut with movies playing. In the office there is a fish tank (my kids love this), a small play area for siblings, movies in the ceiling, and a toy dispenser to redeem the coins you get for having a good visit (it's full of little trinkets like sticky hands and tiny cheap rings). Today my 3 year old happily climbed in the dentist chair for a checkup and said, "I love my dentist!" Can't ask for more than that!
I love Dr Reading and everyone else at his clinic. As a mother of five young children (with three of them on the Autism Spectrum), it's so nice to have a dentist that they trust as much as I do. Their waiting room always keeps them entertained, not that we've ever had to wait longer than 15 minutes (and that was for the younger kids after the big kids had already gone back) at a time. His staff always makes sure that I'm able to take all the kids in the same day for appointments and keeps then smiling. I would (and do) recommend them to everyone. They are the best!!

There are great people who work hard to keep me comfortable and oddly enough, educated about what to do to keep my mouth/teeth healthy. Dr Reading is a generous and undeniably kind doctor. Not only that, a great environment for a kid to want to get their teeth taken care of, I get to watch a cool movie while in the chair, and I even get a little nap sometimes. I was so grateful to get into Dr Readings schedule so quick! My 2 year old daughter chipped her tooth last week and complaining a ton about her tooth. We had an appointment with another dentist a few weeks out but he is able to get her in in two days to fix it! Him and his staff was sooo friendly and approachable and I felt as ease having my daughter be there.

We absolutely love Reading Pediatric Dentistry! They have video games and blocks to play with in the lobby. The children receive a token to get a small "prize" at the end of their visit. He works so well with the kids, talking to them calmly, soothing them when they’re anxious, and explaining what he’s going to do. Amazing pediatric dentist! Dr Reading was patient with my little guy. He has a very difficult time with people touching him, especially strangers. Just turned 2 and we went in for his first time and Dr Reading listened to my concerns about my son’s fussiness and had a great technique to make it a quick and not so painful process. My little guy cried and screamed a bit but honestly the Dr was so fast that the pain was short lived. Then he got a token to pick out a toy when the exam was over which made him super happy! We will definitely continue being happy patients of his for years to come!

Dr. Reading is amazing with my kids. He's good at explaining what he sees in x-rays and exams, helping children to understand how to take good care of their teeth and gums, and he makes going to the dentist fun! I've taken my girls there for years, and even though I live on the other side of the valley now, I still drive out to West Jordan because Dr. Reading and all of the staff at Reading Pediatric Dentistry are so nice and provide a great experience. I recommend this practice very highly.
I love this dentist. My daughter is a non-verbal autistic four-year-old they do everything they can to make her comfortable she never leaves in a bad mood and she loves going to the dentist which is a rare thing. I would recommend Dr reading and his staff to anybody that asks. They are amazing.

Dr. Reading is a wonderful pediatric dentist. I am so glad that I found him. My child has super high anxiety with regards to anything about her teeth. I have raised three other children that are now all adults. Yes they all had some anxieties when working on loosing their baby teeth but they all handled it fine in the end and they loved to go to the dentist. I never had to take them to a pediatric dentist they just went to my family dentist and we're fine... My youngest has an amazing amount of fear with loosing her baby teeth she won't wiggle them at home most of the time. She is currently working on the last 8 baby teeth she has. She has always been a year or two ahead of the game with the loosing of the baby teeth and growing in her adult teeth thing. She will probably have all her adult teeth by the time she turns 10½ lol. With the exception of her wisdoms. We have been going to Dr. Reading now for several years and I can't imagine taking her somewhere else. He is super patient with her and explains everything to her in a way she can understand and that is very important. She just needs to know everything and every detail of what to expect from anyone looking at her teeth before they get close. Dr. Reading does an excellent job of giving her the information and not invoking fear. There is a fine line between the two. I don't think she will ever love to go to the dentist but at least she tolerates going to Dr. Reading. She flat out won't go anywhere else because she feels like they try to trick her and she is just to smart to fall for it. Trust me when I say she trusts him and that is amazing because she doesn't trust anyone. I would certainly recommend anyone who has kids to take them to Dr. Reading. Wether they have anxiety or not because he is wonderful working with kids and extremely knowledgeable about how to interact with them. He has a family and kids of his own which certainly helps when working with them on a daily basis...If they don't have anxiety then great take them to him and they will never develop it. He has everything needed in his office. He can do the gas if needs be. I think he pretty much can do everything a kid might need and has always been able to see my daughter the day of a call or next day. His staff are all extremely kind and gentle as well. They listen to my daughter and work with her to make sure she is comfortable with what they are going to do as well. It's a process even to clean her teeth but so long as she knows what they are doing it's all good. It's nice to go in and have everyone just know my daughter and not have to explain every visit about her anxiety issues and remind them that she has special needs regarding her case. He has remembered her from her first visit and that makes things easier on me as well. In the waiting room there are video games, toys and a cute little room for the kids to play in while they wait and they have TVs in the ceiling for the kids to watch a movie of their choice while they are getting their teeth cleaned. A token at the end to get a prize. As well as a new toothbrush, toothpaste and floss in a little bag to take home. They certainly do a great job of educating the parent as well as the patient which is extremely important. Some places don't let the parents go back with the kids I can see where that could be beneficial but in most cases I don't think it's necessary and I know that wouldn't work for my daughter. I think they do a great job of including the parent here. I'm very greatful to be able to bring my daughter here. Thank you to everyone at Reading Pediatric Dentistry.
If I could give 100 stars I would!!! The staff is amazing same with the dentist. I am a mom of 3 and my 2 year old today had to get sedated to get 10 teeth fixed .. and I was scared and emotional and full of questions and he answered every single one. And made me and my husband feel comfortable and like our daughter was safe! I am so glad I left plantet tooth and found him!!!! My baby girls teeth look amazing! And we will be forever clients!!!! 2💯🥰♥️

UPDATE: I have been coming to this dentist for about 1 year. I have found our kids dentist that we will be using until they grow up or the dentist retires (hopefully not before they grow up) . He does very good work, and very good with children. Update: I have now had over 6 appointments checkups and dental work done one my kids. I like the work the dentist does it is good quality. I have been to the dentist 2 times with my kids. So far, the dentist seems very open, doesn't hide anything and offers what can be done and why. The atmosphere and workers are welcoming and friendly. Wait isn't long, the longest I waited was about 10 minutes.

I came here because I was new to the area and it was super convenient, drive wise, also it was a bit of a short notice.. I needed to get my daughter in complaining about a specific tooth and they took us right in! Then decided to take all three of my girls in and oh my gosh Dr. Reading and his staff were amazing! They welcomed us with opened arms, took care of my girls and was very informative with me. Sadly we will moving out of the area in a few months but no doubt will I make the trip to continue to see Dr. Reading and his staff for all of my children’s pediatric dental needs! We love Dr. Reading and the staff at Reading Pediatric Dentistry. My kids actually look forward to their dentist appointments! Dr. Reading takes his time with each of my children, talking to them and making them feel comfortable. He also takes the time to talk with me about each of my children and their needs. The staff is friendly and skilled. And the cost is so affordable! We have no dental insurance and have to pay out of pocket. I can get three children's cleanings and exams for a third of the cost at our previous dentist.

My small children love Dr. Reading. He is gentle and soft spoken and kind. We love the staff there, too. Dr. Reading has several times put "checks" on teeth to watch and see how things go instead of immediately drilling at the first sign of possible trouble. We've also been pleased with the treatment for problems. Dr. Reading is patient with explaining everything to parents. My children love the office. It is safari themed and welcoming. In the waiting room there are Legos, video games, and a tiki hut with movies playing. In the office there is a fish tank (my kids love this), a small play area for siblings, movies in the ceiling, and a toy dispenser to redeem the coins you get for having a good visit (it's full of little trinkets like sticky hands and tiny cheap rings). Today my 3 year old happily climbed in the dentist chair for a checkup and said, "I love my dentist!" Can't ask for more than that!
I love Dr Reading and everyone else at his clinic. As a mother of five young children (with three of them on the Autism Spectrum), it's so nice to have a dentist that they trust as much as I do. Their waiting room always keeps them entertained, not that we've ever had to wait longer than 15 minutes (and that was for the younger kids after the big kids had already gone back) at a time. His staff always makes sure that I'm able to take all the kids in the same day for appointments and keeps then smiling. I would (and do) recommend them to everyone. They are the best!!

I love Reading Pediatric Dentistry. I will be turning 18 next month, but I still don't want to go to a different dentist. There are great people who work hard to keep me comfortable and oddly enough, educated about what to do to keep my mouth/teeth healthy. Dr Reading is a generous and undeniably kind doctor. He cares about his patients, their interests, comfort, and as hard as it may seem...their accomplishments and dreams. He's genuine, as is his staff. They're all such great company. Very attentive, approachable, and nice. Not only that, a great environment for a kid to want to get their teeth taken care of, I get to watch a cool movie while in the chair, and I even get a little nap sometimes. Ive taken my granddaughter here several times. The ladies who book the appointments are not the highlight. I was worried...However, Dr Reading and ALL of his assistants are amazing. My daughter was scared to come but the ladies in reception did many things to put her at ease including checking on her a couple times. We accidentally showed up 2 hrs prior to our appointment and were seen almost immediately. The women at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Reading is absolutely amazing with children. He is very gentle and patient with the kids and makes them feel very comfortable. He and his staff were also very fluent in Spanish from what I observed. He also did a surgery for my 2 year old's mouth recently and it went very well. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who needs to see a pediatric dentist.
